We had great participation in our annual Law Day Art Contest. This year's theme was "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters" and we had submissions from people all over our county, ranging from Kindergarten all the way up to their golden years. Law Day Luncheon
The Citrus County Bar Association
LAW DAY LUNCHEON
will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at Noon
at the Plantation on Crystal River Resort
A catered meal will be accompanied by a special presentation by our esteemed President of the Florida Bar, Eugene Pettis, who will speak on this year’s theme,
American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters.
This will be a great opportunity for networking with members of the Citrus County judiciary and legal community, and we encourage everyone to attend.

Law Day 2014
The Citrus County Bar Association is celebrating our annual Law Day with a variety of events for the legal community and the general public.
LAW DAY LUNCHEON
Our Law Day Luncheon will be held on April 29th at Noon at the Plantation on Crystal River. The theme for this year’s Law Day is “Why Every Vote Matters: American Democracy and the Rule of Law.” Esteemed President of the Florida Bar, Eugene Pettis, will speak at the luncheon. We will present the Liberty Bell Award to a person or group who has promoted this year’s Law Day theme, and we will also honor local high school students with scholarships based upon their essays regarding a theme-related prompt.This will be a great opportunity for networking with members of the Citrus County judiciary and legal community, and we encourage everyone to attend, especially anyone running for public office as this is an election year. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from John Sullivan or Tanya Williams.
FIFTH DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS
The Citrus County Bar Association will welcome the Fifth District Court of Appeals to our Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness on April 2nd.
