Law Day 2014

The Citrus County Bar Association is celebrating our annual Law Day with a variety of events for the legal community and the general public.

LAW DAY LUNCHEON

Our Law Day Luncheon will be held on April 29th at Noon at the Plantation on Crystal River. The theme for this year’s Law Day is “Why Every Vote Matters: American Democracy and the Rule of Law.” Esteemed President of the Florida Bar, Eugene Pettis, will speak at the luncheon. We will present the Liberty Bell Award to a person or group who has promoted this year’s Law Day theme, and we will also honor local high school students with scholarships based upon their essays regarding a theme-related prompt.

This will be a great opportunity for networking with members of the Citrus County judiciary and legal community, and we encourage everyone to attend, especially anyone running for public office as this is an election year. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from John Sullivan or Tanya Williams.

FIFTH DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS

The Citrus County Bar Association will welcome the Fifth District Court of Appeals to our Citrus County Courthouse in Inverness on April 2nd.
